The Truth About “Feelings Buried Alive Never Die”

Many people are familiar with the book “Feelings Buried Alive Never Die.”

But for me, the title can be misleading.

Feelings don’t actually get buried.
Memories do.

The brain records emotional experiences and later replays them through the body as sensations, tension, stress, or emotional reactions.

Those memories create the feelings.

When the memory response changes, the feelings change as well.
That means emotional patterns are not permanent.
They are learned programs.

And learned programs can be updated.
