If you're so jacked up, you're emotionally upset, you can't see anything anyway. The backside of the brain will hijack the prefrontal cortex. It means you can't even think.
The first thing is you need to put some fire down. The key for you and the key for me is knowing how to regulate the body.
What somatic practice can you do? You can do anything. You could hum happy birthday. You can recall a happy memory. You can roll your ears, unroll your ears. You can move your focus from the sensation in the body and feel your hair. You can hug yourself. You can hum. There's lots of ways to do it.
I use tapping. Tapping seems to be the fastest somatic way of relaxing the body, but also allowing you to go in and maneuver inside of the brain, updating memories and references.
