It's trying to do something for you. Have you ever noticed that when you had to go to school, you had to give a speech, or you had to do a performance, you got sick that morning? Why do you think you got sick that morning? Because your brain is saying, "I'm scared, and we wanna keep you away from doing this." Pain is a reminder of where you came from.
So the guy with the pain of an arm that wasn't there — basically, you go to memory. Memory is what creates it.
How many of you actually talk to someone on the phone — which I have personally done this. I've talked to someone on the phone, and they're telling me, "Robert, I can't come in today. I've got a really bad cold." And then you get off the call, and you start to feel like you've got one, too. How many have done that? They just start talking about it, and you feel like you've got it also. And it doesn't travel over phone lines, you know? Because we've been so emotionally indoctrinated, then we're so hypnotized into having a problem.
