Robert Gene Smith has posted a YouTube video:
It's the bad things that impact us. We remember them. We recall them. We replay them. And every time we do, we're feeding the great unconscious. The great limbic operating system. The intelligent idiot is going to build a program to keep you alive and safe. The bad thing is — it ends up making you sick. It ends up making you miserable. It ends up making you pick the same bad experiences over and over. Until it's so big. So huge. You're feeling it again. And you wish there was a way out. He had a plan. And unfortunately, he went through with the plan. He's not here with us today. His way out felt like the only escape from the misery. Some people do it the slow way. What I call the slow suicide. They replay their miserable life. Their miserable stories. They lay in bed and rehearse. Replay. Imagine how bad life is. That's a slow suicide run. It's not a good one. But you're still rehearsing and replaying the pain. And it compounds. They eat themselves miserable. Health issues. They smoke their way out. They drink their way out. Trying to numb the pain. To escape the pain. But the true way out — there's only one way out. Going inside. Adjusting what your brain captured. What it organized. What it's been using on you, for you, and against you. Making peace with the bad and the ugly. Keeping all the good. That's the true way to freedom and emotional health. 👉 Free Course: https://skillstochange.com/.../
