You'll hate your mother, your father, your ex — whoever it is — based on how you hate within yourself. People who study narcissism find that these are very wounded people. They had abuses and traumas. And so they do it to other people. They can be charismatic on the outside — and go home and be a completely different person. Because they're driven by pain, hurt, and judgment. And they think they're justified. That's where the problem is. What you do inside yourself, you do to others.
