So there's the freeze, the checkout, numb out, and we're conditioned to keep your mouth shut and be quiet and be a good girl or a good little boy. A lot of women — some men too — have thyroid issues. And the thyroid represents "I can't say what I wanna say. I can't do what I wanna do because my culture has put a hand on my head and won't let me move forward." This happens a lot in women as well as men. I see it a lot in women. Majority of the people I help are women. I say 60/40, 60% women, 40% men.
